Strength in the Wind

Provides protection from breezes, winds and short burst of gusts.  Naturally there is a limit.  It is not cyclone, tornado, hurricane, typhoon, twister, whirlwind, squall, tempest, gale, microburst or tropical strength storm proof.  Gazebos should not be used during strong winds.  Yet our gazebo frames do have structural engineering certification. This certification means that the gazebo has been tested by a structural engineer to ensure that it performs to the required specifications up to a certain wind speed. 

The steel base plates on the base of each frame leg have two (2) holes where you can insert tent pegs to secure the pop up gazebo.  We also sell waterbags and sandbags which can be filled and attached to the gazebo frame legs.  While our waterbags and sandbags are designed to help hold down your gazebo, using them in addition to the pegs will secure your gazebo the best. Choosing between the waterbags and sandbags will depend on what material you have available to fill them - it’s usually easier to find a tap to fill the waterbag. Even if you are using waterbags, sandbags and pegs, it is not recommended to use gazebos in windy conditions.

Size and Weight

This gazebo is 3m by 3m.  The strong 45mm hexagonal powder-coated steel frame (1mm steel profile) weighs 25kgs (excluding the canopy).  When folded up, it measures 1610mm x 250mm x 250mm unboxed.

There are 4 adjustable height settings for the gazebo frame.

Setting 1 - Side : 2170mm H, Centre : 3250mm H
Setting 2 - Side : 2250mm H, Centre : 3330mm H
Setting 3 - Side : 2330mm H, Centre : 3410mm H
Setting 4 - Side : 2410mm H, Centre : 3490mm H

Sides and Awnings

Watch this space!  Soon we will release optional left, right, rear side panels. The back and side walls come with a strip of hook velcro across the top and with Velcro loops down each side. The hook velcro strip at the top of the wall is attached to the loop velcro on the valance of the canopy (the skirt of the roof) and the velcro loops are attached around the vertical poles of the frame.

Plus, we plan to release soon an awning and flagpole holders attachable to the frame.

We know it is important to you that our gazebo canopy is Australian Made. 

Care and Warranty

The frame is warranted in Australia for manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase and when used with our gazebo canopy and accessories in accordance with our instructions.  Individual product set up and care instructions are provided inside the product packaging.

2.  Typical lead time for delivery starts from when we receive your full payment till when the courier collects the order is currently 2-3 business days.  Please note, if you have also ordered a canopy, we will hold the frame until the canopy has been manufactured then ship all the ordered items together at the same time.  Manufacturing a canopy may take up two (2) weeks.
